KRYO65, the first grinder doser with a revolutionary grinding chamber cooling system. KRYO65, presented at Host 2011, is the first grinder doser equipped with an innovative grinding chamber cooling system.
This function, patented by Rancilio LAB, is the answer to the biggest problem of the grinding process: overheating of the coffee as a result of mill operation. Grinding is in fact one of the most delicate and crucial operations for the correct extraction of espresso coffee.
This is why KRYO 65 has been designed down to the smallest detail to ensure utmost quality in every phase of coffee transformation. Cooling of the grinding chamber takes place thanks to the die-cast aluminium fins that enclose the grinding chamber, extracting and dissipating the heat generated by the friction caused by the mechanical action of the mills. This considerably reduces operating temperatures, leaving the aromatic properties of the ground coffee intact.
The new KRYO 65 has a number of advantages: Mills in 100% steel, subjected to the special ThermoSteel heat treatment to ensure durability. The hopper is easily removable, self-standing and made of shock-resistant food-grade polycarbonate. The grind adjustment knob highlighted in orange is a highly functional touch of style. It allows micrometric adjustment for setting the desired particle size.
The easy-to-use, ergonomic SoftGrip doser lever and the new dosage system ensure precise, consistent programmed doses. Style but above all ergonomics are also seen in the self-centring filter holder fork and in the tamper.
An easily-removed large collection tray.
Functionality, ergonomics, dynamic forms, and exclusive, resistant materials.
The right mix concentrated in a single product: the new KRYO 65.
